Mounir and Rotem Saouma of Lucien LeMoine continue their burgundian driven excellence in the south of France; they have sourced impeccably for their white wine, which is predominantly Grenache Blanc, aged for over two years in barrel on its fine lees. This is virtually unheard of in Chateauneuf, not even Beaucastel tries to age their white for more than a single year in barrel....the results are stunning.....this could be a Puligny blind, it has such sharp mineral driven focus and cut.....this guy is a wizard...
