Here is Peter Moser's review:
"Melon, pineapple and lemon oil on the nose. The velvety sweet fruit and pure mineral salts unfold with a sensuous tactility. Well-balanced and elegant, this kabinett punches far above its weight and is one of the best of the vintage." 90 points
Here is David Schildknecht's review:
"Picked early from a one hectare concavity acquired two years ago and that doesn’t receive sun until late morning, Frohlich’s 2010 Bockenauer Riesling Kabinett boasts – if that’s the right word – ten grams of acidity as a finished wine, which certainly checks the influence of its 60 grams of residual sugar. Delicate (at 7.5% alcohol) and refreshing, its green apple and honeydew melon are delightfully accompanied by green tea and lemon grass, although their scents are somewhat obscured (albeit, I’m sure, not permanently) by stubbornly yeasty, slightly cheesy notes from spontaneous fermentation. Salt and stone add interest to an exhilarating finish. This should be worth following for the better part of a decade, and perhaps beyond." 90 points
